Guys remember the fall of utorrent back then? I do.
Do you think we'll get something similar with FF, before the year ends?
>>51486944
no, certainly nothing THAT bad
>>51487001
oh wow, so much usable space. nothing wasted at all, nope.
>>51486944
You mean ads inside the browser?
I dont think I can remember it without google adware bundled
>installing utorrent just to bait /g/
no one is using this for real, right.
Transmission, please.

You do something wrong if you dont use utorrent 2.2.1
>>51487001
>not 2.2.1
Retarded or bait, more than likely both.
FF would be silly to implement ads before they ditch XUL.
Using 2.2.1. Have no idea what fall are you talking about.
>2015
>updating soft that works good
Is transmissions safe?

zzz is chinese laughter, often used in video games.
the fact that someone would ask this question when this http://download.transmissionbt.com/files/transmission-2.84.tar.xz is avaliable and easy to find is laughable

The ONLY thing keeping me on firefox is Self-Destructing Cookies.
If there is an equivalent extension on chrome, I'll switch. I'm tired of firefox glitching out.

No, because Firefox is free software.
It's okay to buy (or pirate) paid proprietary software. It's okay to use free software. It's not okay to use proprietary freeware. If someone will give you their binary for free, but not their source code, and it's not obvious what they're selling (eg. iTunes, Steam,) they either have ego/control/power issues (foobar2000,) they are embarrassed by poor quality code, they are out of touch and don't know about free software or how pervasive it is, or you are the product in some way, and they are either selling your data now, or they are getting you hooked so they can monetise their software later by making a proprietary version (madVR,) or just adding ads and selling you out (uTorrent.)
Free software will never have this problem because it is a gift that can never be taken back. If enough people think a project is going in a bad direction, they will fork it, and there are many high-profile forks that are proof of this, including LibreOffice, Cinnamon, MATE, mpv and MariaDB. Paid proprietary software also doesn't have this problem because their revenue stream is clear. You are (or you're supposed to be) handing over cash for a program, simple as that. It is the product, not you. It's not an ego-trip or a cash-grab for the developers, it's their job.
Don't use proprietary freeware.
GOOGLE IS BUYING EVERYTHING AND FUCKING IT UP SO WE USE THEIR SHIT
WE ARE ALL DOOMED
>>51487001
It's funny how bad that got since I last used it. Reminds me of youtube ads.
>using uTorrent
Enjoy mining for them.
