anyone using Google Drive on linux?
I'm on xubuntu 15.10 and since the grive2 solution clogs up my drive space with some contents from an invisible folder it creates in my drive, I tried installing it using wine.
Unfortunately it does not work.
Since I manage all my University things over drive it's very critical for me to use it.
Is the only way to install a VM and have it run in windows there?
fyi you probably get a fucktone of storage on one drive as well if you login with uni id. not sure if it has a linux app though

Just use MEGA instead?
I think you should be using Yandex Disk. 10GB free.
Use this: https://github.com/odeke-em/drive
It's like using git, but for Google Drive.
Why not just use the web interface?

Xubuntu doesn't have jew spyware iirc
You just have to accept that Google are cunts and/or Linux is shit, and that you will never be able to use Google Drive on Linux properly.
switch to Dropbox or switch to Windows. sorry but it's the truth.

And this is why you don't take /g/ seriously.

install owncloud server to your machine
add your google space as external storage
use the webdav or owncloud client interfaces to manage your goog contents
