Honestly they all suck. Refresh on all sucks and none that are affordable are in color. If you want it for books buy a kobo. Anything else and get a tablet.

Why the fuck do you even want color? And how exactly is the refresh an issue? Also it's like half a second, do you want to play games on it?

In exchange it's really good for the eyes and I only need to charge my paperwhite once a month and that only when I'm reading a lot.

It's good for text books and magazines. For me to ever consider an eReader again it'd have to be as crisp and vivid as an actual color book. But it seems like companies don't care. Tablets are a good substitute but still have obvious limitations.

Why do you need to jailbreak a kindle?

I just download books and read them, although it takes me ages because I haven't found decent sources for books, what else can you do with them when they're jailbroken?
