WIFI KILLS and lowers test
YFW
wifi killed my younger brothers, it would have killed me too but I found LAN was better for browsing porn
I am a shitty test taker though, probably a side effect of growing up around it
>lowers test
too late

What is the supposed mechanism of this? 2.4 GHz is non-ionizing and interacts with the body by imparting a minuscule amount of heat to water molecules.

We're effectively basking in an irradiated field of radiowaves. I could dump medical studies but I'd rather just see /g/'s face when since you're all underage v& now

>We're effectively basking in a field of radiowaves.
Oh boy, better turn the lights off or all that high-frequency radiation might give you cancer!
Fuck off back to >>>/x/
>>51447980
post more senpai
I could really use a hotspot.

tfw massive terahertz radiator in the sky
better stay in the basement, it's safer here
>>51448213
For every study yet concluding there MIGHT be a risk, another follows that concludes that there is more likely not.
Either way, if it does anything, it's probably doing less than sunlight for those of us who actually go outside.

My little brother was killed by my wifi network. It absolutely can and does happen.
Although he did just accidentally lose his balance and was impaled horribly by this bad boy mounted to the wall.

>Oh noes, broadcasting AM and FM radio waves now make every person infertile!!!
>MUST.HIDE.IN.BUNKER.BASEMENTS.NOW
Geez OP, if radiowaves were enough to do that, then people wouldn't have had kids since the 90s
we have rather strict laws regarding em field in our 3rd world country and all measurements i do at work tell me wifi is safe.
>>51448694
What's the highest frequency that's set for Wifi? Seems like OP thinks that the radiation is higher than X-rays.

Regular wifi b/g/n exists between 2.4 and 2.5 GHz. 5 GHz wifi a/n/ac is 5.1-5.2 GHz
nothing you can do about it faggot unless you wanna go Amish and drop from the map.
there is literally wifi waves on almost every inch of developed land
>>51448717
mainly 2.4 and 5 GHz. i dont have equipment to measure over 3.5GHz tho.
cisco APs are in 6-8 V/m range from what i seen.
most i seen was 11-12 V/m, that was 3 telco cells together each one with their own wifi ap running all full power on top of that.
safety zone is 7 V/m here btw this allows human presence 24/7, up to 20 V/m - 8 h/day (whole shift).
so not really a problem, i wouldnt worry about wifi at all unless you push antenna inside your brain or something.

Nope.
See this article is about cell phones, which emit comparable amounts of energy as a Wifi router.
http://www.skeptic.com/eskeptic/10-06-09/
I wish the full version of the article from the print magazine was available online, because it's so much more in-depth, but this works too.

If it actually did lower testosterone levels like he says, he could avoid using laptops with wifi on, and use ethernet instead with the wifi function on his router off.
Signals drop in power with the square of the distance from the transmitter, so any claimed damage would really just happen pretty close to it. Laptop, phone, router, etc. are transmitters. For reference, I believe the standard limits transmit power to 1 watt.

>people comparing wifi with ionizing radiation
These people are truly worse than Hitler.
>>51448802
brb wearing a tinfoil hat ;-)
>>51448839
Being sedentary for a long period of time is more likely to be the culprit in lowering testosterone, not the wifi signals.
>>51448918
There are worse people.

>>51448946
if that was true r9k would have died out ions ago
I know the truth is hard to take, but let's face it, in a city like mine there are thousands of hotsports and it all incrementally means more fuck in the head, admit it.

Place yourself inside a Faraday cage if you're that paranoid.
I'm not sure if more hotspots mean a slight increase in daily temperature range.

If we were to line up all of the various light spectrums from weakest to strongest...
<-- Radio waves --- Visible light --- Light that can actually cause cancer -->
We're not being irradiated.
Mind you, if we were in some sort of small, enclosed box and being bombarded with a shit ton of low energy waves, that wouldn't be good for our bodies. Microwaves heat not by irradiation, but by basically flipping water molecules back and forth rapidly as their energy is absorbed. But quite frankly, I don't think the amount of radio waves going around all the time comes even close to the energy output of a common household microwave.

Ireland definitely is third world tier. Did you know that condoms weren't legal until 1985 and weren't widely available until 1992?
They lag twenty or so years behind the rest of Europe on most social and technological issues. It's quite fascinating.
>>51449171
You shouldn't nonchalantly type things like that into your browser bar- it gets sent to google before you press enter, and then google factors in racism into what results they show you.
I guess I changed my mind, wifi is not kill but we are all dead inside.
