Happy with mine. Fingerprint sensor kind of sucks in a case, even the good ones. Overall the phone is pretty solid.
I use alot of gps so go through battery alot more than most. All I can say is that it lasts a Hell of alot longer than my s4 with a brand new battery. Doesn't get as hot either.

I'm very happy with mine. Smooth as fuck, not much bloatware, camera is fucking excellent, and I actually like the 2nd screen. I keep my top 5 contacts in it. Plus it's cool when you get a text while using the phone, it scrolls it up there instead of flying onto the main screen and fucking your shit up.
My only bitch is that my fingerprint scanner doesn't work while the phone is in a case. I got used to it over this past week and really like it, just got a Spigen Slim Armor case in the mail today and scanner won't work. I'll get over it I guess, but I hope there's a software fix for the problem.
I'd recommend it if you're OK with carrying a massive phone; the fucker is huge. I didn't realize how huge until after I bought it, it's actually a hair larger than the note. But it's slim and sexy so fuck it, I'll deal.

It's big though. Not a one-handed phone. However, you can swipe across the bottom buttons to put it in one-hand mode (on either side), shrinking the screen down to maybe 4" or so. Pretty handy. Lemme see if a screenshot will show it. BRB.

It's a neat feature, and you don't even have to swipe all the way across the buttons, you can swipe right from the back button to the edge to activate it.

So I got my OPX invite today. Still can't decide between it or a Z3c. I'm on ATT so I'm fucked on some LTE bands with the OPX. Z3c I hear reports that's basically made useless on 5.1.1 and it costs ~$100 more.

Moto G is what I'm looking at as a last resort if I can't make a decision between these two. Basically it's a toss up of how bad is 5.1.1 on the Z3c really or how bad is not having those ATT bands, especially since I make most of my calls indoors.

I don't know what he's talking about but the z3c has one of the best screen on times of all the flagship phones. If you're into rooting its an easy root. Xposed modules, gravitybox, etc. shoukd all work since the stock rom is aosp based anyways. Bootloader unlocking is allowed provided you get it unlocked or not from a shitty carrier. However, you have to backup drm keys and stuff before being able to flash roms and stuff or else you risk losing camera quality.
Of course, there are also locked bootloader recoveries.

Plus, I've already looked at the available android development, and there's the custom smiui or an unofficial cm rom. The K3 Note is an excellent phone, seeing a lot of hate in this thread. I understand why, but for the price you can't go wrong. Need to flash a custom ROM though as the one it ships with is dogshit (and as people have pointed out is not to be trusted.) Scoring about 45k on AnTuTu.. No issues whatsoever. $150.
Got à note 4 a week ago (not note 5 because of non removable batt and micro SD). It's wonderful I absolutely love it.
Kept the samsung ROM but installed nova launcher and deactivate some bloatware.

Going by what Samsung has announced for marshmallow updates, the s6 edge will get 6.1 or whatever comes with next year's Nexus phones and then it'll be dead.

Rarely have any hiccups. Camera is slow to start compared to something like Moto X.
There's a large amount of bloat, though Sony is fixing that in its marshmallow update in the next month or 2.
I also have all transitions and animations sped up through Nova and the developers menu.
The 801 has no issues.

Edge version is more expensive for a gimmick that reduces ergonomics. The edge version is simply less comfortable to hold, and the curved screen while it looks neat at first, gets old pretty quick and overall is just not worth the extra cost over the Note5.
The note5 itself is a fantastic phone (as is the S6 edge+ except for the curved edge). The only real downside is the non-removable battery and no mSD card slot. But if you dont need either of those features, the Note5 is the current most powerful android phone.
