Does incognito mode really hide your IP, /g/?

Yep.
>>
No it does not.
>>
Why yes, yes it does. Feel free to look at all the CP your heart desires.
>>
>>51423736
yes
not even the nsa can finde you if you use it.
>>
>>51423736
No but like Firefox, it caches all the images into the ram instead of the harddrive where they will promptly be overwritten.

I hacked the FBI servers for the German Intelligence and the Ameriburgers still haven't found out it was me.
>>
yes, it does infact.
the way i communicate these days is tox compiled to asm.js via emscripten to run it in incognito mode.
>>
>>51423736
Yes. It also encrypts all data used in that session and when you end your session it will securely delete all the data using the Gutmann method (overwrites the data 35 times!)

there is absolutely no reason to use Tor with the superior incuc.knito mode, unless you want to look like a l33t hax0r.
I have been buying all my drukqs from the dark net with incognito mode for the past 5 years.
Thanks based gigole
>>
>>51423736
Yeah, why do you think the FBI is trying to get that feature removed. Luckily Google fights for our privacy, so we shouldn't have to worry about anything.

Um no you are traceable. You're not hidden at all.
>>
Incog in Google Ultron does.
>>
>>51426221
Yep, it's good. I once hacked NASA's Gibson while I was incognito.

No.
>>
>>51423736
Yes, look up some cp while you're at it, the feds won't catch you!
>>
>>51426221
Big fan of Ultron. Nice IT guy installed it easily on my pc the other day!
>>
Incognito just makes it to where your computer wont use typical internet data pipes, itll use unmarked "back roads" so yes it completely hides who you are and is untraceable because you are not using the typical data passageways.
>>
>>51423736
Does incognito even claim to hide IP?
>>
>>51423736
ya, you're untraceable to everyone except google.

i'd suggest you become good friends with them.
>>
Thanks /g/ for being so helpful as always
>>
>>51423855
Wait, that's interesting. Doesn't that mean that the program would be way faster since all the software and its cache are in RAM?

In modern browsers it encrypts your TCP/IP connection so your internet provider can't see what you're communicating. The latest browser betas actually use UDP with random ports for Incognito which makes it more secure than tor or i2p.

No, Chrome is already in ram with all the displayed webpage assets, it just won't write them to the HDD. There's probably a flag to do that out of incognito. Take a look at your "temporary" internet files folder and you'll find images from many months back. If you've ever had the misfortune of stumbling onto CP from 4chan, it might still be on your computer.

I met many retarded people in my years on this site but you easily made it into the top 10 with this

You actually don't understand shit, so please let me give you this one advice, and please take it:
You are horribly stupid and it hurts, don't ever try to spread the shit you believe to know about anything ever again.

Now please try to think about the shit you're telling us here for at least 5 minutes and maybe you find the giant flaws in your logic all by yourself.
No one is here to give you private lessons. Maybe google "Does incognito mode really hide your IP?".
If you still don't get it then, just kill yourself

>>51423736
I keep everything in my incognito tab. One time the feds wanted to accuse me of something and I just closed it.
