have fun paying full price for shit because you don't know how to run a suite of tests to check before you buy. Hell even the threat of "hey anon, saw your 980 for sale and im wondering if it would be cool if i brought over my rig to test it" is enough to weed out clapped out cards. Best GPU for the money is the Radeon R9 390, argue all you want, it has 8GB of VRAM which rapes at 4K with maxed out textures and whatnot, better FLOPS than its Nvidia competitors and unlike Nvidia's meme 3.5GB and 128Bit trashy memory bandwith specs it actually is built for the future. If you want high res , if you want flat out better computing performance go AMD , if you want to be a 5 year old memeposter on reddit and play games with GameWorks(TM) and some other stupid superhero AAA MLG title then get an GTX 980ti with your mom's credit card. By the way Valve games work better on AMD cards especially since Vulkan and Source 2 is on the way.

my r9 390 8gb runs fo4 at 2560*1080 @ 75fps
the problem isn't the cards, its some of the .ini settings need to be manually changed
for example the one that dictates fo4 needs to be the topmost window at all times- that setting, in my case, refused to let the game run at ANY SETTING over 39 fps,
most cards can handle fo4, even midrange cards, you just have to fix bethesda's terrible factory .ini settings -- i hope there is a patch soon otherwise people will continue believing that no card is capable enough for fo4.
the game isn't all that pretty, even on ultra
