want to write a program in Assembly for me OP?
Embedded software developer maybe? How good is your hardware knowledge?

Same feeling here
I never, ever want to touch an SQL database or web frontend or android "programming" ever again.
Unfortunately, low-level development seems to be an extremely small and restricted job market.
Can someone please weigh in on how to get a job in this area?

Not him, but how much hardware knowledge is required for embedded development?
If I have some experience with programming microcontrollers in C and MSP430 assembly, and I know a thing or two about electricity and circuits, how far along am I to be employable as an embedded developer?

Unfortunately not that many companies are looking for people to write Fizzbuzzes in C. If you actually had a skillset worth anything, you wouldn't be complaining about choice of language for a job.

I actually have quite a bit of experience in C as a hobby, and have made a few contributions to the Linux wifi driver stack, but feel free to make whatever silly assumptions you want to make yourself feel better.

But look who is explaining himself to make himself feel better. The pot truly calling the kettle a nigger right here
