When you turn your PC on, there is some sense of engine-like noises from the fans (especially on AMD Gfx) but there is no vibrations, exhaust gases, fuel, or need of maintenance.
Even the PSU, the part that is supposed to provide the pc with power, analogous to the engine of a car, never needs repair or maintenance. This is why PCs will always be for nerds, if it was actually requiring of muscle and mechanical know-how to operate, then it would be more widely accepted by the normies. Every normie respects the Mechanic at the car garage. Because they know that they cannot do that.
But a normie can browse facebook on their Tablet the same as you do on your PC. You do nothing that a normie can't do or be impressed by.

No moving parts except for fans. Compare a mechanical relay to a solid state transistor. The transistor will last much longer than the mechanical relay because when things move they create friction and this wears down parts.
A laptop needs to be cleaned of dust in the fans occasionally. But you don't need to wash your motherboard.
Also a car has many fluids which break down and leave residue which can make the system less efficient. This is not really true with electronics.
