How many of you use trackball mice? How does it feel in comparison to a standard mouse?

i have a cheapo microsoft mouse but... arent the trackball things supposed to be better for you wrists?
i've been thinking about getting one b/c i use my computer for like 10hrs on a workday
I use one. It's nice; you never have to worry about running out of space, and you don't have to move your arm or wrist to move the pointer. It's more ergonomic, if you're willing to use a small keyboard so your arm isn't stretched out while mousing.
Infinitely more ergonomic than a regular mouse and noticably more comfy than a gayman mouse.
Not as good for gayman as an optical mouse but better for media production than any mouse.
But not as portable as a regular mice (however portable trackmice exist.)

I use that mouse i really like it. Trackballs take a lot of getting use to but they can be really comfy once you do. If you do get one try to find one that has a scroll wheel or you will hate your life.
I have a cheap one made by sanwa or something, I don't really like it but I never bother to try and get used to it either
