There is a reason no business actually uses Debian and goes for CentOS/RHEL. For starters educate yourselves what "stable" in regard to linux distro means. Protip: it's not doesn't crash.

stopped reading there.

This or centOS
>>
>>51301723
does it mean that it's secure, has well-documented and supported software, and won't need upgrades/upgrades smoothly if it does?
>>
>>51301485
RHEL/CentOS, maybe Debian if you're poor.

>>51301527
It's Gnome.
>>
>>51301485
Install Gentoo

Uninstall chrome. Apricity isn't that bad.

My Ubuntu server has been online for almost 70 days.

What's wrong with Gnome then, because that's the first Linux desktop I've ever seen that didn't look gay and amateur as fuck

Absolutely nothing, people around just like to hate things, they probably hate it because their toasters can't get it to run smoothly.

The developers are of the mindset that features should be removed in the name of 'simplicity'. For example, they removed the ability to remove or change where the Desktop, Documents, etc. quick links point to on the Nautilus.

Also see the "We're not going to ever fix that" bug report on the GTK file chooser from 2004 or something.

Nigga my $300 shittop from 2012 can run Gnome 3. Unless you're literally using a potato as a processor you can run Gnome 3.
>>
>>51304853
You can run GNOME 3 smoothly on a T61 with Intel graphics.

How many have you seen?
