depends on what you're doing with it but i'd get the 8 giga one since an i5 is perfectly fine for most stuff. you'll most likely be needing the ram more than extra cpu power

Do you really need guidance? I5s and i7s, supposed they're both ulv, have a 200-300mhz difference at best. You wont even tell the difference. But 8gb of ram is important nowadays.
Also the Lenovo might have discrete graphics
