Windows-using professionals, at least., don't constantly upgrade because the field CAD or the digital arts rarely require yearly graphics card updates. And at least their activities actually mean shit to the world. And indie gamers, at least, can manage to have lives instead of hours at a time gayme sessions.

I don't play a lot. And since 7 or 8 years I've played a lot of Counter-Strike 1.6 (on servers of a certain community). But these days less actively.
Last year I bought and played through the BioShock games and recently Undertale.
