Are smartwatches worth it in any way if price isn't really a concern?

If so, which one should I get? I have a Nexus 6 and will prolly upgrade to the new Nexus 5.

>upgrade to a nexus 5

Upgrading means you get better specs. The nexus 5x is worse than the 6 in every department except for the camera.

Meant the 5x, my bad.

Eh, I've got one and it's nifty. Sometimes I really enjoy it, other times I feel like I could have spent the money more wisely. If you really want one then go for it. If your on the fence then you probably shouldn't.

They're great for contactless payments.

I've got the LG gwatch r, its not as pretty as the moto 360 but it has an oled screen, which means the time is always shown without wasting battery
>>

I've yet to use mine for payments exactly because of this. It seems like only Starbucks actually accepts it
>>

every shop in the UK accepts NFC/contactless payments.
Stay mad amerifags

I'd move to Britain if it weren't about to go under Sharia law.

eh, they look cool but they're not amazingly functional yet. I'm a huge android fanboy but i'm so repeatedly underwhelmed by them. going to wait on pulling the trigger yet again, see what the third gen devices bring to the table.

until then, the mi band 1S has a heart rate sensor, alerts, and it's going to be around $30 USD. and the first gen device had like a six week battery life

The only thing stopping me from getting the Moto 360 2 is I have no clue what I'd actually do with it.
>>
>>51275308
I have the first gen and after a few days the novelty wore off and I just use it for notifications (actually useful) and checking the time. For just that it's great, but having to charge it every night might be a hassle if you're not around your dock / don't carry a qi charger everywhere you go.

I have both nexus 6 and moto 360.
The moto is fing awesome.
Go for the watch.
Also, Nexus 6 >>> Nexus 5X
