Completely over the top rig...but an extremely good one, and aside from the RAM it's a perfectly valid build for some uses thanks to its ridiculous bandwidth.
What induces rage in me are the prebuilt "gaming" machines that are blatantly built to rip people off. I mean those iBuyPower or CyberpowerPC builds that have an i7-4770k, 32Gb of 2100Mhz Ram...a 1Tb mechanical hard drive, a Geforce GT 730...and a 400W Allied/CheapShit PSU. I mean I know the motivation, normies think BIG NUMBERS ON THINGS mean it has to be great. (and despite being dedicated "gaming" machines have absolutely zero air flow)
These people get these machines home, turn them on, find that despite being brand new they can't game at 1080p at decent frame rates and thanks to the 5400RPM 1Tb boot drives everything is slow as shit, they call up iBuyPower and the tech support monkey tells them that they probably downloaded a virus and that's why it's so slow.

She makes some catty comment about him being weird, and people on the thread were going apeshit until one anon pointed out, the dude wasn't even a person in her world, he was just a prop, an object which she could use a pretext to post something to draw attention to herself. That he was a living person who had feelings and motivations of his own never even entered into her mind and never would unless she happened to be at the receiving end of a mockery/outrage campaign herself.
