I'm currently using a galaxy s5 mini which is actually running quite smoothly. I'm also a bit concerned about the lack of removable battery because it might render the device unusable 2-3 years into owning it.

No OP, it's not Chinese quality shit. I have mine atm, it has gorilla glass at the front and at the back with metal going around the phone. It feels actually a bit premium so don't bother these butthurt fags that don't even own the phone and order it.
