Yeah, I spent hours trying to migrate over to qBit myself, but hated many of the design choices and eventually realized that the seeding was bugged on my system and I could barely even seed with the piece of shit, so wound up having to go back. The whole experience really made me wary against trying to migrate over again.
Anyway I've never much understood the attitude of "uTorrent's recent versions are shitty, so the old versions that used to be good aren't good anymore." If it was a good piece of software in the past, it's still a good piece of software today, and I don't believe anything has really come along to surpass it yet, at least for Windows. Didn't help that most of staff's responses on the subject either boiled down to "you shouldn't need that feature anyway" or "it wouldn't matter if you had a gigabit seedbox"

No, I was kind of deterred because it is an unofficial port, and also like I said the qBit experience put me off putting in the hours of work to seriously evaluate another client only to be disappointed again. Just doesn't seem worth it to me at the moment.
Also in the case of the client you mentioned, lack of native RSS support is very nearly a dealbreaker for me. I know there are workarounds, but still it's pretty annoying.

If you are using a seedbox even freeleech torrents will count to your download.
I thought that since they have rss I will look about interval update times in the forum becuase if you set it too short, like 1 minute you might get in trouble.
I found an old thread where someone asked about it, no direct answer only accusations of being a ratio whore, even by an admin.
In another thread a guy posted his flexget config that was set to a 15 minutes interval update time and even he was attacked by users and the same admin.
It seems to me that it won't be easy to have a good ratio there, but I will try.

That guy wasn't me, I was >>51244149 but the work involved is mostly re-specifying all the save directories one by one. Sometimes somebody will have written a script to help with this, but even then I usually have to fix a hundred or two that didn't import properly for whatever reason.
Of course re-checking the files takes a long time too, but I wasn't counting that since it doesn't actually require me to do anything. But navigating to find where I have stuff saved for hundreds of torrents gets old fast, especially when sometimes it decides to be retarded and create a new subfolder instead of using the folder I selected, and try to redownload the whole thing again, or when there's some kind of error so a bunch of downloads get wiped out before I notice. It's a big headache all around.

It sounds like they just mean your average has to stay above 1GB/week which is perfectly reasonable, I can't think of any tracker I'm in besides Bibliotik that I have less than that anyway, and you can just leech a few hundred gigabytes in your first few weeks and not need to stress.
If they really did require you to download at least 1GB every single week it would get to be a bit tiresome, which is probably what that other guy assumed.
