Comodo firewall saved me once detecting an attempt for internet connection froma virus my AVG couldnt find.

The rise of "Cloud" antivirus (see also, Sophos) seems a little stupid to me. For the most part they are just throwing "cloud" in the name. The only thing that seems somewhat cloud about Sophos is that the management is web-based instead of self-hosted.
