Sup /g/, i know the only thing you do here is shitpost windows vs linux vs apple, but how about a thread about physical maintenance of our beloved shitposting apparatuses. I'm mostly interested in how to maintain laptops, but desktops are fine too. Stuff like how often to clean the insides, the keyboard, how to preserve the battery, the best types of carrying cases and etc.

Really just the basic stuff:
-brushing dirt out of gaps with a paintbrush
-blowing dust out with compressor
-lubing frequently used ports

You cannot be serious. 14 Years in I.T. and I've never heard of such a thing. First off for monitors it's easy. Scott's brand blue shop towels with water. Ring out the shop towels and clean yo screen. No need to use any type of glass cleaner. If one must use glass cleaner on their equipment, please for the love of god use non ammonia based glass cleaner.
