firefox is running like shit again, keeps freezing etc, i dont want to have to troubleshoot it anymore. Can someone point me to a better browser? what is the best browser and why is it better than firefox. i liked firefox when it worked.

Go to about:support and "refresh firefox", you'll want to backup stuff like add-ons because it essentially wipes out most data FF accumulates over time. This will most likely fix any problems you're having.
