So what is the communis opinio on SSD/HDD hybrids, like this Toshiba MQ02ABF050H (pictured). I'm struggling to find reviews, all I see is buzzwords so I'm naturally wary of buying one.

Do they offer any advantage over e.g. a 7200 RPM Hitachi HDD? I know they are certainly cheaper than buying a 128 GB SSD + a caddy for the ODD - HDD swap.

What's the point of one? Just get a nice tiny little 5400RPM drive for storage if you torrent like mad. Or be sensible and just run single 240GB SSDs.
