I've downloaded the HDD drivers from Asrock and it just added an extra setting for the SATA ports in the BIOS menu, but still can't detect anything.

I built a computer last year and for the most part it's been running great. But there's a pretty major problem that I've been running into over the past couple of months, and that's that I think my RAM slowly goes up over time for as long as my computer is running. When I go into the Task Manager I see that my memory is constantly running at 3.7 GB and that I have 3.4 GB available. When I check my tasks that are running it SHOULD be barely running over 1.5 GBs. I'm at my wit's end about this whole thing; looked around online, tried all sorts of solutions, yet nothing seems to work.
I've run a complete virus scan and MalwareBytes, both turned up with nothing. If anybody else has a similar problem and could offer some help it'd be much appreciated.
Has anyone here used Enlightenment before? I got it installed on Arch Linux (using VirtualBox) and for whatever reason it's now displaying a black screen in each window. Does the monitor work and is the cable you're using good? (Ideally test the monitor on a working computer using the same cable)

Background: My home internet is shit (2.5Mbit). I want to write a service to run on a VPS that will quickly torrent a reasonably high-quality video in whatever codec, and encode it to ~2Mbit HEVC on demand. 2Mbit is apparently enough for decent 720p HEVC. I need a VPS that is a) from a provider who doesn't give a shit about torrenting b) fast enough to do the semi-realtime HEVC encode and c) cheap.

Honestly I would buy a macbook just as a day use laptop if it wasn't so fucking expensive and I could throw loonix on it to match up with the rest of my shit. They look so nice but they're not that good hardware-wise so I don't know why people pay that much for it. It's just not worth what they're selling it for. Same with iPhones/iPads.
