No, before they used the series. It was just thinkpad. It is the ThinkPad 390E from 1999 I got it for 20 bucks on eBay. The battery is dead but it came with the original hard drive and upgraded the ram to 196MB. I can buy a new battery for it for like $20 on newegg. I don't care that much though. It is no longer on my desk and now has Windows 2000 instead of Windows 3.1. I don't have the room for vintage computers so it works well when I need/want to do some kind of legacy task.

Yeah, older ThinkPads are really handy for that kind of stuff, I keep a 760CD and a 770X around for similar reasons (I also have a shitload of others, but I have a couple ones I use primarily)
Whats your opinions on external radiators? I might need one to optimially cool my setup, but theyre so unsightly. Worth the extra cooling? Or stick with pretty?

My Thinkpad CMOS is on the fringe as the time freezes when the computer is off or it will just reset to 1/1/89 sometimes. But damn it is probably the original 16 years is a long time.

Yes the tower is on carpet. It is a Cosmos 2, so all the vents are filtered. Still, it does require monthly cleaning. Also, it looks small in the picture, but the table is 5x4 and very high up. Its the only table that makes a cosmos look small...
