That explains it

It depends on the team. I work on some internal tools for the IT department. I enjoy it, but I envy the OS and Xbox teams. I've tried to switch before but there's never a spot for me.

The overall outlook on the company is positive. I'm dying to mess around with the HoloLense but sadly im not a researcher so it's off limits

Been trying to get a job in my industry for almost a year and a half now. It's frustrating seeing other people in my class already so far ahead in their careers while I have yet to start mine. The only solace I have is knowing from a person working at one of the big aerospace companies that the market is starting to pick back up. Otherwise I'll have to try to get a masters.

Just scan for the original ad-codes and replace them with my own.

I also add popup ads because they are the most profitable ones.

And the ad-network I work with is constantly finding ways to go around adblock plugins, which is nice.

Forgot to mention I spend over 25k per year on domains.....

It can be worth it but it all comes down to a game of luck with google.
they have to rank you high to be profitable, but a proxy service is inherently against their rules.
So they don't stay on the top of their results for long (max 1 month)

So I just get a lot of domains and hope for the best.

how may proxy's?
there are only 16 sites being proxyed but i have over 1000 domains for them.

As far as the script goes, I have no idea at this point as I have completely distanced me form that aspect of the site.
The script is maintained by my sysadmin whom gets 20%.

I don't even know which where stuff is hosted.
All for plausible deniability.

Money is of-course offshore, made enough money to hire someone to keep it hidden and accessible at the same time.

My "job" is something I'd do for free, but people sometimes see fit to pay me for it. That's how I feel about programming too. It's hard to focus on my classes when I could be programming instead. I'm probably going to take some time off from school to work full time with a combination of performing and freelance-ish programming. (I know a guy who frequently needs programming done, and he usually throws jobs my way whenever I have time.)

I've been bandying about the idea of walking away from my comp sci degree to just start working, but it looks like most of the people here with CS degrees do really well for themselves. Is the degree is worth it if it isn't really building up my skills any faster/better than working/learning alone?
