2 questions:
1) Is there a way I can set up a hotkey to switch between lanczos and lanczossharp on the fly? My GPU can handle lanczossharp most of the time but when I tried playing a 15GB encode of Interstellar it was dropping a lot of frames. Now obviously lanczossharp isn't needed when the video you're playing is already 1080p
2) Does vo=opengl/-hq work on Wangblows? Or should I be using one of the D3D vo's?

I recommend just not using lanczos at all then.
>Now obviously lanczossharp isn't needed when the video you're playing is already 1080p
I think it's needed for chroma upscaling. Dont' quote me on that as I'm vague on what a bunch of this stuff even does.
>2) Does vo=opengl/-hq work on Wangblows?
Yes.
mpv is dead

How so?

How much do they pay you to necrobump your threads here?
Are you part of the dev team or a contributor at least? Or are you literally doing it for free?

The guy doing the anime placebo features got kicked so everyone went back to VLC.

hason updated his frok literally 3 hours ago.

1. The issues was with code quality, not the features per se.
2. The current list of features still exists
3. No one should ever use VLC.
4. Hashan still can make pull requests. There's just more overview of his code now.
5. Hashan has his fork that he can do anything with. Who knows, perhaps this will one day replace mpv in terms of popularity?

madvr never got shilled here.
Only your ghetto wrapper around libav needs so much forcing.

The default osc is such ugly looking trash and it scales horribly with windowed videos. Bottombar is the best and should be default. Prove me wrong (u can't).

it's a thing of beauty and simplicity. Hush now.

How? It stops playing if I parse the link to playlist after the first video.

It's so much better than menus, menus and menus. It's simple and KISS.
Is there a way to fix a youtube video (not a live one) when it somehow stops midway or so? Sometimes I like to watch vids that are over 10 minutes or so, and about halfway or beyond 10 minutes, the video stops and in the command line window I have up (in Windows 8.1), I keep getting the message "[Cache] cache keeps not responding". The only way to fix this now is to just start it all over again.
Right now, I'm testing a live youtube video to see if it will do the same thing on the connection I got going, but right now it's been pretty smooth at "2s + 2.5 MB".

so, it was all worthless?
Still can't get mpv to recognize .ac3 audio files. Works with .ogg.
>>47113144
You gave it the link to a video, not a playlist. What the fuck did you expect?

I switched to arch with openbox recently for muh lightweightness, and since I did my MPV videos experienced some nasty screen tearing.
I hoped a compositor would fix it, so I installed compton and set it to autostart with opengl doing vsync. The result was that the tearing was gone on most of the screen, but still there on the top 1/4. Weird. Any suggestions from you /g/entleman?

Of all the shitty pleb-tier anime girls out there it has to be Saber.
