They've been including automated braking systems in cars now- ones that monitor stuff infront and brake the car automatically if they detect a collision is imminent.
Well I say in cars but like a couple high end models.
And one of them didn't work in the test I saw of it, it crashed right into the car shaped balloon used as the object.
They're implemented in a 'if you're not paying attention' kind of way. I think that'd be neat if it'd automatically stop for children and such, but imagine the games kids would play with self driving cars. They'd jump infront of them knowing they'd stop, and then it turns out there's a human driver in one and it hits them.
Humans will actually get worse, statistically, at driving when the robots become the majority that's on the road. People will just get used to jaywalking since cars will stop for them.
Then when a car doesn't stop for them since it was driven by a human, it sends the human driver casualty stats way up, which may get human driving banned outside of race tracks and special areas.

The future of food prices is not a 20% increase, we're talking 300% increase. Oil prices make food harder to move around the country, phosophorus prices going up makes food more expensive to grow, top soil erosion means that you have to use nitrate fertilisers that get more expensive when energy is more expensive- food prices are going to triple.
And in high wealth inequality states like africa (where famines are common) and america (where famines are not- and the reason is that there's so much wealth going around that even the poorest can afford a burger), but when food goes up 300% in price, massive amounts of people are going to go hungry. And when there's large amounts of people going hungry, they get angry, and violent. And so the NSA is spying on you to see this stuff before it happens.

Its a scary concept for all who aren't the top 1% of the world or in the armed forces. It will happen at some point, it has to. After a large initial cut down in the total population things would 'stabilize' again under a new order, a life with robots. Prior to that happening though there will be massive wars and fighting, nobody is just going to want to lay down and die because the top 1% want to be the only ones to inherit this earth.
At least as a nurse / health professional I'm set for some time. Its going to be a long while until people actually are able to accept robots for medical care entirely. I see robot labor force as a form of slavery that doesn't violate human rights. It made economic sense in the 1800s, the question is does it make economic sense now? Really don't know the answer, but I will share some of my thoughts on the job market and my own job. Job seekers are like a commodity and job openings as the demand.
There's about 3-4 job seekers for every job opening, no wonder why unemployment is rampant.
People w/ jobs are more productive than ever, working more hours for relatively lower pay than in the past (given inflation/cost of living). Employers are not afraid to fire your ass if you don't work to the maximum of your ability, because they know that you are easily replaceable.
I think the solution is to move away from a 40 hour work week, gradually reducing the number of hours people are expected to work. If "full time" was considered 32 hours a week, then there would be more positions to fill, less unemployment. Really, what else is there to do, especially as robots penetrate our work force in the coming years.
If we make robots illegal, or something, that is basically the broken window fallacy. Never mind that robots are more efficient and may reduce our cost of living, lets keep breaking windows because we need jobs.
Let me tell you about my job, I'm an optometrist. People in my profession worry about new schools opening and flooding the job market. Indeed some areas are saturated. a problem that would only be worsened if some how robots were able to do my job. I believe that there are plenty of patient's to go around if my profession moves to quality over quantity, Sadly right now with insurance reimbursements dropping, we are pressured to have more patient encounters, shorter chair time and doctor/patient interaction.
