Is it alright to ask for suggestions in battlestation threads? Because I'm having a hard time figuring out what gear I should get to satisfy all of my needs.
I do almost all of my gaming on PC, but my wife likes to watch. Right now I use a lapboard and have my computer hooked up to my 73" DLP screen. This works well enough for now, but I need a desk. And that desk is going to be in the bedroom.
What I was thinking was to use HDMI and USB over cat5 extenders and directly wire the computer to the TV that way. Sound like a good plan?
