Overall satisfied with it, was prretty fucking inexpensive, has decent features and button, and a nice softwrae to it.

the

successor?

come on logitech, these things are $250 for new old stock at this point

>>
>>45929641
Its successors are good mouses. 400s is basically the same shit with a slightly higher DPI, 402 has a very slightly different shape and better placed buttons. It also has an accelerometer if you throw your mouse around the desk when playing, supposedly it works well but you'll probably never reach the speed at which it kicks in anyway.

Using Steelseries Kana v2 which is worthless shit.

The liftoff distance is fucked (ps: anyone who mentions the "tape trick" is a fag). Mouse 3 is also fucked after only a few months of use. Also if you lift it a bit over some surfaces the pointer starts shaking and spazzing out hard. Its actually ridiculous how bad this mouse is for the price.

Currently, G302.

I've been through the MX518, G400, G700s and the G502.

While I really liked the G502, it has way too many awkward buttons. So far the only issue I have with the G302 is that it has a rubberized cable instead of a braided one. That and I wish it had one of those free-flowing lockable scroll wheels like the G502 has.
Otherwise, the secondary button placement and size on the mouse is god-tier and it's a lot more comfortable in hand than it looks like it would be.

I use pic related and love it. Will admit it's not the best for comfort but I don't notice most of the time and I've grown used to having all the buttons, although I wish I had the version where the two buttons are beside the left click. I have this paired with a Nostromo and it's awesome for gaymen.
>>
>>45928406
>>45929849

G500 is kinda famous for double-click glitch

I have first hand experience
>>
>>45932237

g402 is the "successor" of the g400 line which is the "successor" of the MX518 line.

G302 is a new "different" concept they've thrown out there.

Otherwise, G402 has two additional buttons on the left mouse, moved the DPI switch to the thumb position.
No idea on any practical differences on the sensor(logitech is trying to tout the g402 as some amazing sensor or something).

Oh right, also the g402 is .73oz heavier than the G302, which might matter for some people.
>>
>>45930831
No you fucking fagot. The g100s has the AM10 sensor which is one of the best on the market. That chink shit probably has some garbage sensor.

g302 is an ambi mouse, while the g402 is ergonomical. If you palm, get the g402. Otherwise get the g302 or even g100s. They are also both lighter than the g402.

If you do more than 3 m/s swipes, get the g402.

I see what you mean. That's got to be the most retarded placement for DPI buttons I've yet to see.

I have a logitech g9x, and the dpi buttons are at the top of the left mouse button, and I occasionally hit that.

I read you can turn the DPI buttons off in the software for the G502, though they should just make it where you long press the button to change the dpi setting.

Fuck, Logitech is the most retarded company. They always do something to fuck up what could be an excellent hardware design.

I owned the T650. It's an 11/10 product. No trackpad compares. Even works well on Linux.

My daily driver is a Performance MX. I had one for two or three years. I abused the fuck out of it. It still works, but the sensor is starting to get crappy/die and the battery life isn't as good as when it was new.

I got a new one for Christmas. And it's so nice and clean and functional now, compared to my tortured old one.

best mouse for fps
>>
>>45942910

>>
>>45942933
tell me what's wrong with the FK1 and how there's a better one
>>
>>45942878
i ordered g400 its my first gaymen mouse, but if I dont like it I will return it and get that instead, it looks very comfy, especialy that sticking out part for thumb/part of palm just under thumb,
how does the charge/batteries hold against daily use?
>>
>>45942523
except it wasn't you and you just stole this pic
>>
>>45942984
quality issues on early batches aside nothing (except the switches being unfit for a lot of games that aren't fps but that's subjective) but there are several mice with the same sensor and several others with sensors just as good

My hand (touchscreen) master race.

I use my computer maybe 3-5 hours per day, six days per week. Roughly. I charge once a week or every other week. You can use it while it's charging, but it still goes over wireless. Even for gaming though, this mouse is execellent and has some great precision, weight. I use my PC mainly for gaming and photo work. Never has let me down. It's only around $55 USD on amazon.
>>
>>45942999
you are right about quality control issues on early batches (probably because of the ultra high demand)
i really like stiff switches more than light ones and of course there are a lot of mice these days with the same sensor
but not one mouse with a 3310 is as light as the fk1
i didn't say it's the best mouse ever but the best fps mouse IMO
>>
>>45942999
the quality issues are not limited to first batches
>>
>>45943170
they should just completely remove the extra coating and use rough plastic instead
>>
>>45942997
yep, so what?
>>
>>45928309
I have it.

I am probably the only person here using all the weights. I love my mice heavy.
>>
>>45944003
I like my mouse heavy as well. Too many mice these days made out of cheap flimsy plastic that makes them lightweight.

The Logitech G502 is an excellent mouse.

I dunno some shitty combo mouse, but since I mainly play strategy games it should be acceptable enough.

If I need to get a new mouse I will. I was thinking a G series. I play FPS occasionally, enough that if I wanted a new mouse I'd get one suited to that, at least.
>>
Are sharkk mice any good? They're well reviewed on amazon
>>
>>45942822
Hope you got 2 years warranty instead of just 1. It will die in the 13th month.
>>
>>45942910
shitty switches
shitty custom lens
interpolation/smoothing
overpriced

my ideal mouse would be a g400 sensor inside a deathadder shaped shell without any extra buttons just left click, right click and scroll/click.

the only reason anyone uses that piece of shit fk mouse is because top csgo players are paid to use it. it's a thoroughly mediocre mouse.

Does anyone have experience with the g402 Hyperion Fury (JDIMSA) vs the g502. Is there a reason to avoid the g402?
>>
>>45928309
Can you disable the lights on that mouse?
>>
>>45948640

>>
So it comes down to g400s vs g502. The g400s has a shitty cord, but a better rest on the left side for the ring and small finger. The g502 has a braided cord, but the skates are prone to wear faster than the g400s due to smaller surface areas. Some also complained about the button at the thumb, I have small hands tho.

When did your razer mouse die?

My deathadder is going on year 4 now and it still feels like it has years to go. You never know, though :)

Just replaced my dead g700 with a g502,arrived today. Love it so far.
>>
>>45948705
Haven't used a G502, but I did have a G400 for 4 years and switched to a G402 when it broke. G402 feels like a minor upgrade to me. Button placement is better and otherwise it's very similar, I didn't even really have an adjustment period for aiming and shit, coming from the G400 I felt right at home.

R.A.T. 7, Inb4 bitching about sensor, I'm not as ridiculious as to require some op 9001 DPI sensor.

I love how solid it feels, how awesome it looks and after a brief check through the manual programming it is awesomely easy and versatile.

A G500s, nothing else was available when i bought it but it works really well.

I have small hands, I did paw a mouse 16 hours a day or more during that time though. First was a Lachesis that had sensor problems which I've noticed after a day, had it replaced immediately. The replacement Lachesis' right mouse button broke after half a year. Guess what I had used for jumping in FPS and freelook in MMOs.
Had that one replaced as well, but since the Lachesis was an older model, they gave me a second generation DeathAdder instead. Only received 1 year warranty for it. The scroll wheel button sunk into the frame after 13 months.

Tried one of these, returned it.

The third finger button is completely unnecessary, adds too much weight and bulk and just killed it for me.

its a shift button and it doubles what you can use. your third finger would just be sitting on right click anyway

i tested both
for me the g402 is much better,
the mousewheel of the g502 is too noisy, the mouse is for me too heavy around 130g (+ weight adjustable 15g), and the mousewheel is out of plastic.

g402 got around 110g , better mousewheel, not so noisy, and the sensor is good, had problems with the laser of the g502, i played the same dpi and same sens, but it was different, g402 is a 9.5/10 for me, the click on the mousewheel is for me a lil bit too heavy, but thats all, rest is perfect, the sensor is underrated, some just read this sensor havent test it and say shit about it, but it has the same sensor like the g100s and many gamers like it
>>
So is the Deathadder Chroma any good or is the 2013 version still better?
>>
>>45952908
Don't bother with Razer, their quality has dropped a lot over the past couple years.
>>
I got a g602 a few months ago, i was hesitant about wireless but damn if its not the best mouse I've ever owned. Thing is amazing!

software was a touch fiddly at first but seems to have been fixed with updates.
>>
>>45952897
the sensor is not laser
>>
>>45952950
Well, I need something to replace my G400. I didn't really like the scroll wheel on the G400, so I was looking at getting either the Deathadder 2013 or Zowie FK2. But not a lot of people have nice things to say about the FK, so I'm trying to find other options that are both cheaper and easier for me to get.
