I like Stitcher too. I like being able to listen from a web browser and pick up exactly where I left off on my phone and tablet.
Recently though I've taken a liking to Pocketcasts. It's got a cleaner design, less obtrusive ads during listening, etc. The only thing is it's not free, but I pirate it. Will most likely buy it in the future.
Plus Pocketcasts has more actual podcasts to discover than Stitcher.

I recommend Volksempfänger
It has some shortcomminggs but I really like the super clean UI and it has the best functionality of all the podcatchers I've used so far
