I just bought this bad boy. Filtering takes like 20 Seconds until all water ran through and it tastes great. In my region, we have a lot of calcium carbonate in the water, so it always ends up semiwhite.

Pro-tips:
Fluoride (added by municipal water suppliers) will not be filtered by normal carbon filters (e.g., Brita)
Chlorine can be neutralized by letting water sit for 24 hours (depending on it's coverage area), or areating it for at least 6 hours; as it will escape as a gas
Chloramines can be neutralized by mixing an organic compound into the water, which will disengage the chlorine/ammonia bond. How you will then deal with those two is up to you.

Whether it works or not should be irrelevant. There are codes of conduct when it comes to medical treatment and involuntary drugging or treatment when the patient is of sound mind has always been considered unethical. You can't just drug people without their informed consent even if it's both in their best interest and that of society at large.
