So the truecrypt developers intended to stay anonymous and I'm assuming that means using TOR for everything related to the project
Somehow it is believed that the NSA or some organisation forced them to shut down, meaning their ID's had to have been compromised for the NSA/organisation to have any leverage against them
Does this logically mean that the NSA/org has cracked TOR or that the devs messed up somewhere?

this is serious, the NSA potentially has figured out how to crack tor using some method no one has thought of before and because I used the first picture I clicked on in my 4chan folder we can't do anything about it
>>
>>42287972
That is impossible to solve, and can be proved with graph theory. I don't have the pic, but essentially modelling the doors as edges, the rooms vertices, and the outside as a vertex, it will create a graph with 4 vertices of odd degree. Euler said that there is no solution to a Eulerian path (all edges visited once in one path) under these conditions.
>>
>>42287972
no system is perfectly secure. there are known ways to hack tor and it is known that the nsa is trying to do so. for example data size measurement, if you download 51513532 bytes from a random tor node and a random exit node also downloads 51513532 bytes they can guess what you are doing. remember they have access to all(most of) the data in the world.
however if you do it right you're probably sufficiently anonymous, if only for the hassle they have to go through and the amount of people they are actively spying on.
>>
>>42288102

If the object of the test is to detect autism, and the test successfully detected autism in that guy, wouldn't it be more accurate to say he passed the test? You can't call it a failure if the test succeeded.
>>
>>42288036
he drew a line through the middle so it is impossible.

It is easy to prove that such a challenge is impossible if more than two rooms/the outside has an odd number of doors
>>
>>42288134
ok but there are so many users of tor it's unlikely that they'd get the right guy and not someone going through another node
>>
>>42288147
After that reply you're autistic regardless.

>>42288115
It's a millitary encryption protocol. There probally is a way, but it's either resource consuming or not worth it.

>>
>>42288188
I don't think you understood. How many people in the network downloaded exactly 51513532 bytes of data within that second or so?
If they have access to enough nodes in the network they can track data just on size, even though it's encrypted. then you're as secure as your exit node connection.
A solution might be to randomly append fake traffic between nodes.

Okay, I'll be that guy. So, the autism part to this is to just draw a single line through each space without connecting them. If you are one of those people who just automatically assumed you had to solve it, you an autist.

Now, it actually mathematically impossible to draw a single line through each door that stay connected, the story is some fucked up village in the UK was designed more than piss poor, and the townspeople had one store, at the center of the village. The council or whatever the fuck brits have hired this mathematician to figure the shortest path without having to drive around the village to get home or to the store. The grid is setup exactly like the village, and it is literally impossible to do without overlapping on or more of the single line.

So there you have it. You are all autistic.

clearly technology related, or could be, but everyone is talking about how to game the system and not anything tech related
perhaps if they could come up with a script that could attempt to solve mazes like this and then give what happens when given an impossible maze, but no we're talking about using portals
>>
>>42289430
If you are given something impossible to do you don't have that many options, basically:

-Solve until you get stuck then give up.
-Cheat.
-Throw your toys out of the pram.
-An hero.

That's not how Tor works. Tor sends all traffic in chunks of 512 bytes to avoid exactly the kind of profiling you are describing.
