I've taken the meme bait on a couple. I now use a gaming mouse (rival 300), use Arch linux, and I boot from a SSD (850 EVO). They are all pretty freaking great.

The nogapps thing was clearly a ruse. No one in their right fucking mind would use it on their primary devices. Most screenshots you see on /g/ are either people "using" it on their old phones or poorfags with budget devices.
