Is Firefox comparable with Chrome's performance on Linux yet?
Any reason to use Chrome over it? And what fork of Firefox is the best?
Really depends on your hardware. Firefox still has really shitty resource management on linux, it micro-stutters constantly on my laptop, that's why I use chrome.
On a somewhat powerful PC it shouldn't really matter though - never had problems on my desktop at least

"Muh privacy" and gui customization. However, if you only care about stability and speed, use chrome.

64bit default. All forks are either not worth it feature-wise or are outdated to some degree.
I would use chromium if it respected font config. Fonts look like crap.
It still sucks
