I wouldn't be surprised. I was fat my entire childhood thx to mommy dearest. In 5th grade I weighed 150 lbs already. At almost 27 years old, I'm in way better shape than I ever was as a kid/teenager. I never had a "cute" little teenager body, I was a bloated fatty. My legs and ass will always have stretch marks, and will always look saggy no matter how fit I get. You just need to add the calories back in on a bulk and make them appropriate for your macros.
If you run for twenty minutes that's about 120 calories. A half of a protein bar is about that (just pulling the first protein bar I googled).
Bam, you gained all of the many benefits of cardio, while still hitting your daily calorie goals, and giving yourself a little bit more to help with muscle recovery in legs.

Had a housemate who kept claiming he was 'gonna go pro' in football when he was 17, I met him when he was 19 and he didn't look like he could kick a ball without getting out of breath, and he's gotten even bigger now. After living with him I can just see the habits he's kicked into since becoming an 'adult' for example he'll have a fry up literally breakfast, lunch and dinner, he'll just sit and scroll on fucking Facebook for hours on end every night sharing Shit, he'll power through 4/5 fizzy drinks a night. and yet he literally has the audacity to give me workout advice, saying Shit like you should have an ice bath whenever he catches me getting back from the gym cause that's what he did when he was gonna 'go pro'
Its just pure laziness and he's fallen so far from his supposed potential, we played football one time and I ran circles around him and I'm certainly not anywhere near Pro. My life consisted of working just enough to maintain my junk/fast food habits, keep my WoW subscription up, and that's it. Even when I saw myself in the mirror every morning, I just clicked off the side of my brain that was screaming "holy shit! Abort abort! Back down now!"
Would just bury those feelings in more food. It eventually gets to the point where nothing matters anymore. When I finally reached 453lbs, I was wishing with all my might, every day, to just go to sleep and not wake up again. To just die like that so I no longer have to exist in this form.

Jesus, the attitudes of people like me -- fat fucks -- who refuse to even TRY to get healthy piss me off. Last summer I was 300 pounds, and I finally reached a point where enough was enough. I stopped boozing, I stopped eating junk food, I stopped eating huge portions, I stopped having thirds and fourths and I started exercising. I am now down almost 75 pounds. I have gone from size 42 pants to 34, and my shirt size from 4x to XL. Not only that, but I had developed a condition called foot drop, which is a weakening of the foot, so I was one of those ham beasts walking around with a cane. Now, I can walk normally. There is no fucking excuse not to TRY.

Was always thinking of offing myself but no matter how I planned it out in my head, I kept coming to the same conclusion. Hanging, shooting, jumping.
