I didn't really have a routine. Basically what I did was restrict my calorie intake to around 1800 a day then add cardio and basic calisthenic work ontop of that. Just recently around a month ago I started a 5x5 program and have already seen a noticeable improvement off of that

Bench 5x5
Dips and Chin ups 3 x 10 (I go 3 x F when I do them weighted) - these are super setted
Ez bar curls 3 x 10
Overhead cable extensions 3 x 10
Cable chest flies 3 x 10

B Back and Shoulders
OHP 5 x 5
Pull ups 3 x 10 (3 x F when I do them weighted)
Barbell rows 3 x 10
T bar rows 3 x 10
dumbbell pull overs 3 x 10
Super set side and back later raises 5 x F
Dumbbell shrugs 5 x 10-12

C
Squats 5 x 5 (High bar sometimes low bar)
Calf raise machine 3 x 10
Leg Press 3 x 10
Lying leg curls 3 x 10

C2
Deadlifts 3x5, 3x3, 3x1
Some more random dead work like pause sets or ab training

ABxABxCx then do ABxABxC2x the next week

You can change up the compound lift rep scheme to 3x10 or 3x5, or even 3x5, 3x3, 3x1 they're mostly for ego and heavy lifting. I try to do at least 20 minutes of cardio at the end and I do cardio + abs during rest days.

sometimes I end up just doing AxBxCx during shitty weeks or during good weeks I can go ABABxC.

About 20 months between. Surprise factor: Exact same weight in both pictures. This is why you should never listen to anyone who tells you "you should be X" weight. Goal setting based on the # of lbs/kg's on a scale becomes less and less relevant when you get to the point of understanding lean muscle mass and BF%.

Regardless of what method you use to get to your goals: bulk/cutting, recomp, bicycle. It's all relative.

There is no surprise factor about that picture, you lost fat, and gained lean muscle. The entire process probably would have been fast if you just cut then bulked instead.

For a bulk from 110 that sounds good, maybe a little high since half of that will probably be fat, you'll have to cut anyway but just being efficient about your bulk will help minimize the amount of fat you have to cut when you're done. If I were you I would've just slow bulked to 150 and seen where I was then, if at 140 you're still not fat then just bulk slowly until 160 and if fat (inches gained on your waist) then cut if not keep slow bulking. You shouldn't be getting too fat if you're slow bulking though so if you're gaining 1-2 lb steadily but you're getting fatter then you're doing it wrong

Hey guys, so this is my weight loss transformation so far. I went from 5'6 220lbs to 5'6 136lbs now...

My question is, why does it still look like I have so much fat for being only 136? I feel like I should be practically a skelly at this weight but I'm not. Is it because I was once so fat and now it's a combination of little fat and loose skin left that makes me look heavier than 136?

Right now, Candito's 4 day Strength/Hypertrophy

When I was fucking around in my apartment, it was literally anything I could think of to do with dumbbells (presses, rows, curls, etc), plus chin-ups and some machine stuff like cable row and lat pulldown. Usually split into into a push/pull type thing.

The thing I am doing that is working is going to the gym consistently, lift as heavy as I can and eating pretty well.
