My main issue is that you can definitely tell it was a Disney movie. Not gonna spoil anything but the way Solo and Leia talked to each other seemed unrealistic, there was a bit too much humor for my taste in the whole movie.
I don't like the actor playing Kylo Ren either. He seems like a vagina and neither sounds or looks intimidating without the mask. And his temper tantrums seem uncharacteristic of a Sith lord. He behaves like a 15 year old rather than someone in their 20s
I don't feel there was enough backstory on Kylo either. I couldn't feel a connection with him. His whole character seemed like they just threw him in as "new bad guy #4" without much thought. We have all the backstory on Finn and scavenger girl and a fat load about Solo and the other main characters. Kylo just felt flat as a character
Also only one character died. Only fucking one it's like Disney doesn't know how to have anyone die

Kylo was my least favorite. He's got a fucked up lightsaber for some unspecified reason and I just think they weren't subtle enough with showing his weakness and sense of inferiority. I think it's a disconnect when he's throwing tantrums like this but the big bald hologram dude is still okay with it.
And there were NO force jumps in any scene. Absolutely none. And the only time Kylo used his force powers was on Jakku 10 mins into the movie when the pilot (Po?) Shot at him with his blue laser rifle thing. No force push or strangling anyone he was in combat with except for freezing people those two times.
