There's a study on this and believe it or not, noobs need the most protein because they are able to put on muscle more easily than bodybuilders who are struggling to put on a few lbs of muscle in a year.
The numbers I gave you are perfect. At .82g per lb of lbm you will experience no loss of muscle. (Keep in mind even the best protein powders fall a few grams short in the 'actual protein per serving' category in lab tests, so eat .82g/lb of lbm + like 10 grams or so just to be safe

I'm going to x-post here because I'm about to start SS this coming Monday.

I plan to eat 2 cups of rice a meal, 5 meals a day, so that's:

2x5x242cal = 2420 cal
2x5x4.4g protein = 44g protein
2x5x53g carbs = 530g carbs
2x5x0.4g fat = 4g fat

That's in rice alone, not accounting the meal itself (veggies, poultry, meats, dairy, fish)

What do you guys think?

Taking Pre work out before my gym time seems to make me even hungrier, but even without it I'm hungry as fuck and I wake up after 2 hours if I don't stuff myself before sleep. I'm still skellie, and I cheat on my diet pretty often, but I'm eating more than twice what I used to, I work hard, I'm motivated and I'm going to make it.

Congrats on your weight gain but I wouldn't go for 225. I made that mistake 2 years in when bulking from skelly skinnyfat mode, and just got fat. Then I cut, then I bulked, cut, bulked and then bulked for 2 years now I'm here. Not that I'm particularly lean, but still.
Muscle & strength gains were best when I was at my leanest (8%, that was a long time ago)
I'd cut if I were you, you lack the muscle to continue bulking.

5x5 is shit, move onto a new routine like 5/3/1, westside, smolov, sheiko, 5 day splits, high volume shit like GVT, a combination of those thing, 2x a day training, whatever - just see how you respond and ensure diet variables are the same.

I personally found 2x a day worked best, but the lack of sleep sucked, working, social life and 2x a day at the gym on top of monstrous eating is hard!

People at 70kg can hit 140kg within months (definitely within a year) just by increasing the weight and pulling on it. That's really not that much weight for a deadlift. If you really wanted to (I'm talking lean bulk together with a powerlifting coach) you can get there within a month or maybe two.

Obviously I'm not telling you to get a powerlifting coach and a 100% strict diet plan. I'm just saying, 140kg is something everyone that actually tried WILL achieve, decently easily at that. If it took you 3 years without multiple horrible injuries, you're just not trying. Food has nothing to do with it, you don't need to bulk to hit laughable numbers like that.

I think what I changed was frequency, and technique. Started deadlifting in oly shoes, for some reason that helped, I also psyched myself up and learned how to DL better. Went great.

Because he's gained quite a bit of fat, he lacks the muscle to continue bulking, that is his lack of muscle, and his 'bulking status', being hypercaloric and if a standard bulk, high in fatty acids and carbs, his muscle is likely to be insulin resistant, his fat too, he'll likely just gain more fat.
That's all that'll happen, he needs to cut so he improves insulin sensitivity of his muscles, or he can recomp or do a mild bulk because 8 months to go from his tiny weight to that is too quick. He's just increasing fat storage at any point along this bulk, now, that's all. Gains will not be as good as they could be if he cut down to 160-170lbs lean, then slowly bulked there on.

Trained 2x a day, did lots of cardio too
Ate 820g of carbs a day, 15g fat a day (mostly fish oil) and the rest protein of the 4800kcals I took in. Burned something like 1200 kcals from cardio alone. The rest was an adaptation of westside barbell split up into 2 with extra volume, I followed lyle mcdonalds 2x a day approach but modified it a bit, did carb backloading too, shit load of BCCA/Luciene.

That lasted ages, I had a set diet, only ever went outside of it when eating out with friends, family and girlfriend.
Then I turned to juice for a while and ate like shit, thankfully my bloods show I'm in good health. I took preventive measures outside of diet to help with that thru supplementation.

But desu, I don't find juice did much.

It isn't that amazing, I think the guys you hear saying its amazing started off low test before cycles, I mean I was at 1000ng/dl+ on all my previous blood tests, my estrogen was normal too. That was natty.

Only bother if you got something like 400ng/dl under, then again it depends on free test and androgen receptor density, but if you train frequently and heavily enough (for dat dere mTOR downstream effectors increasing androgen receptor density on teh nucleus cuz translocation of teh proteins dat enable steroids to bind to it) that's not a problem. You're healthy for you.

I got high free test too, hence my mild glucose intolerance.
Honestly guise don't juice unless you need to, waste of money.

It probably took me 1,5 years to get a 3 plate diddy, and I didn't enough either.
I have a severe leg length discrepancy, so now, a year later, I deadlift 130kg, after a big deload. Dunno if I should go for 132,5kg 2x6 tomorrow to play it safe, or do 135kg to progress a bit faster.
Could also just go for a true 6RM, which will probably be 135-145
