yes. But I have no power generation and I haven't managed to find any resources that would help me adapt to this stance (form cues, exercises, etc.). A lot of other lifters with long femurs find that this is the case so I'll stick to what I know and just be more careful with squat volume and trying to avoid getting crashed with weight

Danny has us press pretty rarely DESU. In the last 4 week cycle we did a push press 3rm, a strict press 2rm, and some triples at 70% of the strict press 2rm

Honestly unless you have a super shitty weak upper body you shouldn't have too much trouble with jerks. It's mostly legs and timing.

Don't do much anymore. not when I've got a comp coming up anyway, getting overly tight from pressing and rows fucks my positions.

If I've just done a comp and am doing volume work I'll do a bit of pressing, rows and chins until 6-8 weeks out.

Not really no.... I've failed 150 once because my elbows dropped and the bar slid down but I think that's a pretty easy to fix... Just get my elbow around quicker (I was also standing up pretty quick with it even though the weight was on my hands) .... Ive only ever tried it once and never more because I can't jerk it yet.

Can you advice me on lower back pain? I injured my lower back ages and ain't really letting it heal because I keep squatting. My squats improving but the repetitiveness is causing me problems.

I do most of the motions before my workouts, and throw in some light band pull aparts, front raises, and shoulder dislocates. Then I do my bar warm-up, which varies by the day.

I took my OHP from 70kg to 90kg at about 80kg bodyweight a year or two ago mostly by 1/week heavy singles. For me the hard part of the press was always shoulders to eye level, so 6-8 singles across at a heavy weight worked.

I stopped OHP when I started weightlifting because the more pressing I did, the more I pressed out jerks. I've been doing it recently though, now that I've more or less got the jerk mechanics down.
