OK /diy/nglers, let's save this piece of shit guitar that I drunkenly won on ebay for 55 bucks. I'm going to try and keep the budget under 250, which I believe to be doable.

The back is rosewood, not sure of the specific specie. The auction claimed BR BR BR but I doubt it.

The sides look fairly decent. Binding channels are cut, but they're shit.

The end strip is goofed up a bit as well. Probably going to dump a shitload of epoxy in there and call it a day.

First thing I did was rip the top off, which was easy, seeing as how it was barely glued on the. I just shoved a flat tip screwdriver in there, and started popping if off, bit by bit. Looks like the rosewood is plied, but it looks good, so who cares.

Shims shims shims. I don't have any routers handy, so I'm going to have to make this work somehow. Fairly certain a shitload of epoxy is going to be involved.

This is the stupidest bracing layout I have ever seen. Good thing I took this off, seeing as how it's not worth a shit.

That's going to be it for tonight. We'll see what I can get done tomorrow.
