/DIY/ I need your help with my neighbor. This neighbor is causing a lot of ruckus and my current fence is not keeping him now his pooping dog out of my yard.
I am worried that this guy will start weeding my garden, and shingling my roof. I already have a gardener and a roofer. I do not want them to lose their jobs.
I am thinking about replacing the fence with a wall. The total wall will be just shy of 2000 miles in length. As you can imagine, the surface geology, bedrock, and groundwater conditions vary considerably along this length. I am going to need something that will work for the entire length.
What will be the best approach to construct this wall to keep my neighbor and his dog out of my yard?
Price isn't really an issue. My neighbor will be paying for it. He thinks he won't be, but we will see about that. Hopefully >>>/adv/ can help me on that front.
My other neighbor is cool. We don't even have a fence separating our yards. He does have some weird hobbies and interests, but still a pretty good neighbor. So I only need one wall.

Seems to me like putting down the dog would be an easier option. The neighbor too, if he's that much of an asshole, then you'll have two yards and won't need a wall at all.

I have a buddy of mine who owned a huge pitbull very agressive against other dogs.
he also had neighbors who's dogs would always try and fuck with the pit. they would escape their backyard and run crazy around the neighborhood like fucking animals and the owners didn't do much about it. they thought they owned the fucking street.
well one day they finally manage to get over the brick wall and both attacked the pit. big mistake. at the end there were two dead dogs belonging to the neighbors in his backyard and a very badly hurt pit.

Its much easier to commandeer about 500x2000 miles of your neighbors yard, destroy any buildings that might be there, and have absolutely no gas stations within this 500 mile buffer zone.
you can also have your gardeners patrol your buffer zone so that the wild dog population is kept to an absolute minimum. within a short time I'm sure you'll notice that there arnt anymore wild dogs on your property.
BUT if you have your heart set on a wall, I suggest something in pic related style as an absolute minimum.

also look at the case in chicago where the home owner had a flower pot on the window seel and someone snuck into their fenced in yard, came up to the house, tried to pry open the window, accidentally knocked off the flower pot, cut themselves with the falling flower pot... A friend of mine had a concrete wall around his property. His control-freak neighbor built it to stop his dogs from escaping. Physically the wall was fine. Eventually some of the dogs found their way around the wall through mutual neighbors' yards. The wall became ineffective and caused tensions with all the neighbors, even the ones who didn't border the wall, so he tore it down.
