I mostly crochet as well. I make things, such as pic above or beanies. Lately, I am making a doll rather slowly.

Currently making some socks but they are ugly so no pictures
Beginer knitter, after making a few beanies and this headband I just sort of lost motivation and haven't made anything for over 12 months. I'm finding it hard to motivate myself to make something. I'm tired of simple headwear but I'm at a loss as to what I do next from beanies/headbands. Any suggestions? I sort of want to try socks but I don't have any DPN's and they seem really hard.

I crochet (mainly amigurumi) and knit. As for knitting, I really like cables. Get 1 - 1,2 meter long ones, and you can knit two socks at a time. Also learn magic loop (knitting with cables) and magic ring (crochet).
