I second this, you can even get it at home depot (for a few dollars more than its worth). It's a good idea to have some other shit to glue up too because there's no way I've found of saving an opened tube for later use.

Not sure about repairing larger parts, but for preventative splitting and small jobs Loctite super glue works like a charm.
>>

just get a pair of resolable boots
>>
Regular white woodworking glue works just fine. I've fixed dozens of pairs if shoes with it.

Just make sure you figure out how to clamp it properly first.

>>1021244
cyanoacrylate glue or barge cement depending on what the materials are, it's what shoe repair shops use
>>
just buy new ones you fag

butthurt cobbler detected

...but if you are actually a cobbler the heel of my work shoes is worn off on one side from the way I walk, what is the procedure for fixing that?
>>
>>1023303
Not that guy..but you replace them, and then get plastic taps so you wears those down instead of your heel
>>
silicone adhesive works.
>>
Motherfucking Shoe Goo nigger
>>

>>1023308
I just use Shoe Goo. Plastic taps sound like it'd have less traction.
