I want to make pic related
https://www.paulcbuff.com/vlx.php
it's not avaible in Europe and there are not real alternatives in the market atm, plus I need it to be 220v.
I was thinking of just rigging something like a LiPoFe4 motorcycle battery and a 1000w inverter... thoughts/ideas?
>not real alternatives
it's just a small crappy UPS though?

>It's just a small crappy UPS though?
Can't be. It recycles at 330 watts per second.
>>1014141
Nigga, watts are already joules per second. Watts per second makes no sense.
>>1014165
you have never accelerated anon?
>>1014165
It's actually Watt-seconds per second, which is from the same class of units as miles-per-hour hours, or ohm-meter meters.
>>1014174
Watt-seconds per second cancels out. 10 watt seconds per second is just 10W.
>>1014176
Thanks, anon.
What's an ohm-meter meter work out as?
>>1014188
Not sure if joking or stupid...
An ohmmeter-meter would be the number of ohmmeters needed to make one meter.
I love this thread.

OP here
shit guys you don't know shit lol

From the site:
>recycles approx. 330 Ws per second
>>1014620
Holy heck
that's photography stuff. In flash photography the nominal power of a flash unit is determined by the maximum capacity of the capacitors bank, and it is expressed in
watts X seconds
that is equivalente to joules, yes, but since photographers aren't physics manufacturers chose to use a more "user friendly" unit of measure.
When a flash is discharged, it takes time to refill the capacitors, hence you have the fancy
330 Ws per second
that is W x s / s so its just Watts, but again it's not the constructor that is retarded it's just how they measure things in photography.
>>1014176
What about meters per second per second?
>>1014709
That's a rate of acceleration.
Meters per second per second is meters/second/second or ms^-2
Watt seconds per second is watts*second/second which cancel out to W.
>>1014709
You're thinking of meter-seconds per second.
