And as an extra heads up, this is going to be a long storytime, so please avoid posting images until the storytime is over. Going to need all the space I can get.
>Haha time for brain damage and best symbiote
>>83960678
Can't wait to hear Cho's Hulk Math on this.
>>83960712
Any idiot taking fucking footage that close to a natural disaster like the Hulk deserves to die, Sam. He'll just go on to breed even more retarded, danger prone spawn some hero in the future will have to clean up after. Not worth it.
>>83960763
Bal-bal-balls of steel.
>>83960792
Will you be doing the annual where the helmet gets fixed when it occurs in the story, or after the run proper is done?
>>83960976
The Annual is basically the true issue 28 (since the actual issue 28 is Black Vortex derailed garbage) so yeah, I'll be storytiming it between 27 and 28.
>>83960936
Why wouldn't you fly closer to the ground?
>>83961044
Sam is not a particularly bright boy.
>>83961044
i would post that page of him getting hit in the head repeatedly but this is a storytime
Also, for those wondering who hadn't read AXIS, Kluh is the result of Hulk/Doc Green getting sad.
>Banner gets mad, becomes Hulk
>Hulk gets sad, becomes Kluh
Oh, and Carnage was among the inverted villains.
>>83961044
He'd probably damage the buildings in town, and after getting to the countryside i guess he just didn't think to decrease altitude.
>>83961081
Is there comic about what happened to Kluh after this?
>>83961115

Shame on you, op
>>83961232
Oh don't get me wrong, literally everyone should go read AXIS: Carnage. It's a true work of art.
The current run by Conway is also pretty good and worth checking out. How we got to the point where Carnage is arguably the best spider-man book on the market is beyond me, but hey, I ain't complaining. I still bust out my old Maximum Carnage SNES cart every now and then.

>Man introduces himself as Cletus Kasady
>Respond with [Real Name]
WHOOPS
>>83961281
I'd do a lot of things just shy of killing someone to have Sam show up in Carnage's book, but he wouldn't fit the theme of it very well.
>>83961137
His very first page was hilarious
He started beating up the Avengers and they showed a gracious oage of Medusa's ass. Then he said he had a harder time taking a dump than fighting the Avengers
>>83960700
>POCKET SAND! Sheshashaaa!
>>83961501
Not the most flattering image. Does he ever get a retake?
>>83961144
See this is why I feel bad for Sam doubting himself to other heroes with
>Maybe I was never the best hero,
His current stats speak for themselves, he has prodigy levels of improvisation, intuition and introspection.
At first it's a bad situation, he has to go in bare and Kluh knocks him around and out. It happens, given his age and experience he's lucky to have survived it and he put up a fight.
Despite the injury he sustains he gets back up and does what few heroes would against a Hulk or super strong asshole archetype he starts thinking smarter. Spider-Man was going go fist to face with the Hulk in typical [X]Buster fashion, Sam did the wise thing after seeing how that goes and instead neutralized his strength by taking him to a low gravity location. More importantly he did so by keeping the threat at a distance and then swinging him away at the last second.
There should be a medal for dealing with a threat like the Hulk and minimizing the damage done so swiftly. Instead his memory's all fucked up and Carnage is going to visit him one day, goddamn shame.
>>83961666
>one day
Sam wishes it was one day.

I think it's safe to assume he did off-panel.

>>83960763
How powerful is Sam? Obviously he's not as strong as Rich, but I imagine he's more powerful than pre-Annihilation Rich
>>83961614
>muh Bucky
>>83961170
poor Cletus :(
>>83961668
I wish Carnage-Man didnt invert at the end of axis, he had some story potential.
>>83961772
To be honest, they also fight differently. Sam is proud graduate of Moon Knight's School of Getting hit and then thinking what to do later.
>>83961772
there isn't a way to tell apart from what you already wrote. He's not Nova Prime, but he's stronger than any regular Nova centurion (aka pre-Annihilation Rider) due to his black
Nova helmet
>>83961668
Heeeeeeere's Cletus!
>>83961125
For any other hero, I would be mad at how stupid a move this was.
For Nova, this is 100% in character.
>>83961411
>You became an Avenger when you fought the Hulk
You're fucking right he did, and all of Arizona should pool together their funds and make a giant golden statue in his honor.
Complete with functional penis and balls so they can send someone to polish the shaft every hour on the hour and shower Carefree in his life giving seed.

Wait, didn't Carnage become immune to sonics and regular fires?
>>83962124
I believe he did after this arc.
>>83961458
Whoa whoa wait. I understand the need for verification and all but isn't Sam indirectly registering himself right now? They have his fingerprints and DNA on record.
I know they already know, but if someone else wants to know and they know how to hack in, they can know now. You know?
I mean Tony turned Superior just a bit ago and Steve is HYDRA right now, that sort of thing is what I'm talking about. All they have to do is think who took out the Hulk and could be a problem, and bam. The Alexanders disappear.
>>83962124
Marvel doesn't care, why should you?

He was immune to fire. He didn't gain his immunity to sonics until this current Carnage ongoing which didn't come out until after this.
>>83961901
>Spidey boxers
Between this, Carnage USA, and the ongoing, I love that he's kept his relationships with the Spider crew even though Venom is barely recognizable these days.
Thank you for posting these
>>83960740
Holy shit I got tense reading this. The combination of the brutality plus a kid bawling and screaming for his mom is too much.

>>83961424
Jeez Cap, couldn't you have waited till he didn't look like shit.
FEEL FREE TO SKIP THIS ISSUE IF YOU WANT
Black Vortex was a garbage event, and unlike the other event tie-ins of this comic, this was meant to be a core part of the story. As a result, it's kind of hard to read on its own. There's only really one thing that comes out of this that is relevant to the next issue.
Still, there's good moments in the issue, but for all intents and purposes, Nova Annual #1 was the true issue issue 28.
Just be forewarned that while not a bad issue in its own right (it's still be Duggan afterall and he does what he can to continue advancing Sam's story forward in it), it is a bit too tied into the Black Vortex storyline to be satisfying on its own, and the Black Vortex storyline itself is too bad for me to really be able to recommend tracking it down just so you can get the most out of the issue.
>>83962850
man Ive never even heard of the Black Vortex event.

Oh Thane. You were never a particularly interesting character but you still deserved better than what Humphries did to you

>>83962925
Bendiiiiis
>>83963230
I mighty be wrong but shouldn't the all the nova force comeback to the 616 universe since the Rick helmet is here ?
>>83963356
No, because the Nova Force was inside Rich, not his helmet. He could take the helmet off anytime he wanted and still keep the full nova force, he just couldn't speak to Worldmind without it.
>>83963414
ah thanks for explanation, im bit casual when is comes to older cosmic stores.
