I have this strange fear that they might be getting Starco... "out of the way," by having whatever this smooch buddy stuff is by season 2. What if the fact that they mentioned it as something as comical as "smooch buddies" and didn't build up anything towards it or depict it as seriously built up before means they're planning to just get it done and out of the way so they can focus on othe relations in later seasons?

Well obviously there's a ton of episodes thrown in the mix as I sincerely doubt you can throw every clip shown into a single, coherent episode.
I think the whole "on the lips" thing is definitely not something they'd just casually expose, as Starco is obviously understood to be a huge, huge part of the show. On the other hand, something that out of context is also similarly able to drag someone like Tom into the mix. Maybe it's not a "Tom scene first, "on the lips" scene after" but vice versa, if the two parts are related.

Back in the day I had a script that allowed for co-op techs in battle but i lost it alongside nearly everything else I had in the great PC explosion of 2010.

Actually there's a lot of examples of facial expressions for Jackie in the series: in "Matchmaker" alone there's instances of surprise, satisfaction, happiness, disappointment, frustration. Maybe Jackie has not too many lines, but she's very expressive.
…On the other hand, I feel Janna has a somewhat smaller range, in canon — or maybe I mostly notice variations on the same smug expression she has as a default.
Though I must confess that, aside from the "DO IT" pose (still, thank you Bluejr) I didn't use still from the series as inspiration — and that was really bad from me, because it would've made my drawings more consistent with canon! Oh well, at least I corrected some of the most glaring errors.

I don't know about Sabco moments, but for good or for worse, if Brittney has new appearances in the show, Sabrina will surely be in there too — as a recurring gag character, sure, but odds are that at least once or twice she may interact with Marco. Not sure about the possibility of the series actually pushing to deliberately hint at Sabco though; in the series only Janna and Jackie have shown some interest towards him, so maybe Sabrina doesn't even consider him (yet)!
