More or less. There's pretty much two types of standard "look over the shoulder" poses: the condescending "I'm so far above you I won't even bother to turn my whole body to smirk at you" pose, and the "nothin personnel" hard look. Both of those convey an emotion or a message.
Poses that look like the character is checking for traffic before crossing the street are pointless to include with any character, unless they're intended to be utterly boring I guess. Such poses, by default, stop being about the character and start being about why the VIEWER is looking at the character. This goes just as well for any other character, male or female, as it does for Tracer.
