I have disliked almost everything I've seen from the new series. Not everything, but I can't enjoy the majority of it, unlike the original.
The voice acting feels wrong with the expressions on the characters. Proffessor Utonium's VA sounds older and less expressive. The background characters and set design are either ugly or bland for the scene. Fights and animation don't have that snappiness they used to have, they're either too clean or slow.
I'll watch the first few episodes, but I doubt I'll make it through the whole series. I estimate I'll drop it around episode 7 or 8.
