I'm taking the cultural approach to Kazerad's contest. I'm making two sets of Argonian-themed cookies. My focus will be creativity in their thematic design, not their shape.
One set will be Hist-Sap inspired sweet cookies, and will have the goal of fucking you up as hard as possible like sap does to humans.
The other set will be savory fish cookies, as I want something the Argonians themselves would want to eatand I don't want to exclude them like some sort of racist
A personal challenge will be to make these while as inebriated as possible, so to properly mimic Kaz's mental state when he cooks himself

Small update. I turned on the burner a while ago to get the water boiling for the potatoes. It started to smell weird and I noticed the water wasn't even simmering. So my natural reaction was to quickly flick the nearby heater to check if it was hot. Whelp, now I have a small burn on the side of my pinkie, but now the pot's on the proper burner so I'm good. Flour and spices are mixed for the sweet cookies as well.

I suppose you can just cut the ends, and then slice the edges. You'll lose a lot of actual potato this way, unless you keep the "peelings" and turn them into french fries.

Score them along the midline, boil them for 1-2 minute, then dunk in ice water and just peel the skin off with your hands. It should slide right off. Then cut into pieces and continue boiling.
You can also boil them all the way through and do the same method, but they'll be harder to handle.
