Just like I always say with AT, this show could've been great. I saw a lot of heart in the very start of it, and the premise was great. Superpowered tokusatsu ensemble taking care of a little boy? It was cute, fresh and it could have opened up to the perfect mix of adventure, cool lore and coming-of-age themes. Steven becoming more and more mature and eventually becoming a powerful hero by the final season could've been even more satisfying than ATLA with Aang.
I can't even really hate these shows because I get too sad from the wasted potential.
