The original dude doesn't even sound angry about the fanart, he's just disgruntled at the way they were being presented. Klaspy-Cusco had a certain aesthetic with certain ideas and influences within it, and those pieces of fan art were likely being presented to him ignorant of that.
He doesn't insult the artwork of the other artists, he wanted to express what he conceived of as a set of drawings in-line with the show's aesthetic.

Instead of yelling at a dude for acting grumpy, she could have just said that what she made came from its own set of influences and didn't necessarily pull from the original source material.
